US-8 is a Gigabit PoE switch from Ubiquiti Networks in desktop version with one PoE IN and one PoE Out port. Managable switch with 8 Gigabit copper ports and 16 Gbps total throughput.

Biggest advantage of switch is a Gigabit Input POE on port 1 and Gigabit Output POE on port 8. Switch can be powering via DC jack or over ethernet with active 802.3af/at or passive 48V. Switch can power other device which is connected to the 8th port with maximum consumption 12W with the same power which is powered switch.

The crucial difference between UniFi and EdgeSwitches is in management - WebGUI management switches is only in EdgeSwitch models. UniFiSwitch is controlled only by UniFi controller.
